.heaven help me.....

Why, oh why is it that when you really shouldn't be shopping you find such cute and "I just gotta have this" sort of stuff? I just happened upon this lovely site called Ruche, and I'm in love!

It sort of reminds of Anthropologie (which I totally have an addiction for) but without the hefty price! Okay, so it's not quite the same but still it's pretty amazing! Oh, and don't even get me started on how cute Downeast Basics is.....{sigh}. Fall is just too much fun to dress for! I need to win the lottery. ha!

I saw this and died! Check out this cute and creative blog.....I love this idea for my office or my kitchen and will definitely be going to Walmart for some cork board soon! This girl is amazing and where in the heck does she come up with this stuff? LOVE it!

....Wishful Thinking....

I'm totally thinking spring and am in love with these beauties.....if only money grew on trees, right? {Sigh} Maybe for a special someone's birthday coming up??? One can only dream, ha ha!! I would totally buy up everything Anthropologie had if I could...love their new looks for spring...I heart all the bright colors, simply divine!!

{St. Patty's Day, and turning 50}

Yesterday my beautiful mom turned 50 and my sister and I had so much fun "kidnapping" her, going to lunch and having a great girls day together (of course I had the kids) but we had a great time!! My sister was the kidnapper, ski mask, water guns and all....and then we had a fabulous lunch at a new little bistro in Twin. We then headed back to Hagerman where my mom was then paraded around town to her friends' houses, local businesses, etc. in an "old Lady" costume complete with a wig, cane, nylons around the ankles, funky glasses, clip-on earring...you get the picture followed by a delicious meal held by her dear friend. We had a great time and I hope mom did too...you are the best mom.. we love you so much!!

On a whole separate note, St. Patrick's day is here and I though I'd make one of these if I had some extra time...so stinkin' cute! I found it here and loved all the fun ideas!! It's my new favorite blog as of right now and has some great tips, recipes etc. You should go check it out!! I'm going to try some of her tutorials, they look so easy and fun. Hope you all have a wonderful St. Patty's day!!

{Congrats}

I wanted to say a big Congratulations to my not so little brother anymore.....he proposed to his fabulous girlfriend over the weekend and we are so very excited for him!! I can't believe he's old enough to be getting married, I feel so old, ha! :) So, we send all our love and best wishes to Kyle and Sedra, the happy couple, may joy and happiness be yours for many years to come. I'm adding a pic of Kyle from about a year back, unfortunately I don't have one of his beautiful fiance'... isn't he a cutie?

{Nie Nie}

I have been following this blog for quite some time now and thought that maybe you or anyone who checks in here at my blog might like to check it out. It's called the Nie Nie Dialogues and be ready for a tear-jerker. This woman is amazing! She's been through a plane crash with her husband and has been severely burned, blogging about life, her family and the daily struggles she goes through. It really puts things into perspective for me and make me count my blessings every day for my precious family. She is such a trooper and I look to her for inspiration and strength. Okay, I am just dying over how these are so cute!! I made these for our new little girl that's on the way and they are super easy and super cute! I think the apple is my favorite and I have a lot of baby showers I could make these for so I'm thinking these are a new favorite thing of mine. I can't wait to see our little girl in one, 3 more weeks!! Oh, and P.S. I got a few more pics up of my sister's engagement session over on my photo blog, many more to come!

Test Run and Fun Find!

I found these lovelies at Target and was so surprised at how comfortable they were!! I love them and I can't wait to pair them with some hot jeans and all the fun new fall clothes. Fall is my favorite and I'm now on the lookout for some fab boots so I'll let you know what I find.

Lately I've been trying to learn more things with Photoshop and I'm having a blast! You can do some really creative stuff but until I really get the hang of things, I'm trying out my limited skills.  Hope you like it!
